Jardin Majorelle was the inspiration for this installation of cacti and succulents at the offices of Ford Models, just south of Central Park. The painter Jacques Majorelle, created this Mediterranean masterpiece in Marrakech during the early years of the 20th century.
The stunning art deco architectural details of Ford’s New York headquarters is the perfect juxtaposition to this collection of exotic plants in vibrant colored pottery. A unique landscape was created using a variety of texture and form that is not only novel but sustainable as well. Using only local resources, the display requires only the summer sun and rain to put on a spectacular show.
